Creative careers grow through trust.
01. The standard
Kretopia is not built around popularity for its own sake. A polished profile, follower count or impressive claim cannot replace the record of what someone actually did, with whom, under what conditions and with what evidence.
The community works when creatives, clients, producers, organisations and collaborators can rely on each other without being forced to guess what is true.
Respect the person
Disagreement is part of creative work. Harassment, humiliation, intimidation and discrimination are not.
Tell the truth
Represent your identity, experience, availability, work, relationships and professional claims accurately.
Credit contribution precisely
Role, authorship, identity, payment and client confirmation are different facts. Do not use one to imply another.
Respect consent and boundaries
Privacy, audience, permissions, confidentiality and the right to say no remain part of professional trust.
Keep the community useful
Opportunity, conversation and visibility should help people move work forward — not create noise, pressure or manipulation.
02. Identity, credits and evidence
Your Kretopia presence may include your Creative Passport, work history, roles, collaborators, services and evidence connected to professional contribution. Other people may rely on that information when deciding to contact, shortlist, hire, recommend or work with you.
Only present work you created, commissioned or genuinely contributed to; describe your role accurately; credit collaborators; do not fabricate clients, testimonials, Co-Signs or evidence; and do not treat one kind of evidence as proof of another claim.
Visibility is not evidence
Popularity, reach and presentation can be useful context, but they do not automatically prove delivery, authorship, quality or reliability.
03. Opportunity, hiring and outreach
Kretopia connects people to paid work, collaborations, grants, castings, residencies, bookings and other professional opportunities. Whether an opportunity originates on Kretopia or elsewhere, its source and current state matter.
Use accurate titles, scope, requirements, location and timing; state compensation when known; do not disguise unpaid work as paid work; do not post fake opportunities; update or close changed opportunities; and do not represent a click, message, redirect or invitation as a completed application or agreement.
04. Collaboration, files and money
Creative work changes. Briefs evolve, versions move, dates shift and responsibilities overlap. Professional conduct means making those changes visible to the people they affect.
Agree scope, responsibilities, deliverables, dates, rates and revision expectations as clearly as the work allows. Do not pressure collaborators into hidden extra scope, treat one version approval as approval of another, collapse completion/payment/contribution into one state, or manipulate payment records.
A room is not unlimited permission
Being added to a project, thread or workspace does not grant access to unrelated organisation records, private contacts or confidential material.
05. Content, rights and AI
Kretopia supports creative work made with traditional tools, digital tools and AI. The standard is not whether AI was used; it is whether people are being misled about identity, authorship, evidence, endorsement or what actually happened.
Only publish material you have the rights or permission to use. Do not impersonate people through generated media, present fictional people as real creators or customers, fabricate professional history or publish confidential client work without permission.
AI does not remove human responsibility
The person publishing, submitting or acting remains responsible for the claim, permission and consequence attached to that action.
06. Community conduct
Creative careers are built through relationships. The way people communicate, give feedback, negotiate, invite, decline and disagree matters as much as the profile they present.
Harassment and abuse
Bullying, stalking, intimidation, threats, sexual harassment, coercion, discriminatory abuse or repeated unwelcome contact.
Fraud and deception
Impersonation, scams, fabricated evidence, fake opportunities, manipulated reviews, payment fraud or materially false professional claims.
Rights violations
Plagiarism, piracy, unauthorised distribution, misuse of confidential material or knowingly claiming another person’s work as your own.
Spam and manipulation
Unsolicited bulk messaging, repetitive irrelevant promotion, coordinated account manipulation, abusive automation or attempts to game discovery systems.
Serious harm
Credible threats, exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, malicious software, credential theft or unlawful or seriously harmful activity.
07. What Kretopia commits to
The standard runs both ways.
Evidence over hype
Kretopia should distinguish different kinds of professional evidence rather than collapse them into one universal trust score.
Unknowns stay visible
Missing evidence, stale availability, uncertain outcomes and external-source limits should not be converted into invented certainty.
Privacy by relationship
Private contacts, restricted files, internal notes and relationship context should remain visible only to the people who need them.
Human authority
AI may interpret, prepare and coordinate within permission, but consequential decisions should not silently become autonomous authority.
Product truth
Capabilities, outcomes and professional states should be described as they actually are — not as stronger states because the wording sounds better.
08. Reporting and enforcement
If you encounter behaviour or content that may violate these guidelines, use the in-product reporting control where it is available. If a reporting control is not available, use Kretopia’s official contact route on the website.
Reports should be considered in context. Kretopia may look at the behaviour itself, available evidence, severity, repetition and risk to others.
Possible action
Content removal, feature restrictions, warnings, temporary suspension or account termination, depending on the circumstances.
Good-faith reports
You do not need to prove a violation before raising a concern. Knowingly false or malicious reports intended to target someone may themselves violate these guidelines.
Review
Where a review or appeal route is available, the enforcement notice will explain the applicable process.
Changes
These guidelines may evolve as Kretopia’s products, community and operating environments develop.
