Kretopia, Passport & Kreto

Understand the record, the workspace and the help available.

What is Kretopia?

Kretopia connects creative professional records, finding work and project collaboration. Your Creative Passport presents your work and its supporting information. Companies and creatives can use a Job and proposal to agree work, then collaborate in a shared Studio. Publication and payment are separate choices with their own permissions and records.

What is my Creative Passport?

Your Creative Passport is your professional record. It brings together selected details, work and contribution statements, with the source or confirmation behind each statement. Information you added yourself, publicly sourced information and independent confirmation mean different things. A complete profile is not a talent score or a guarantee that every claim is verified.

How do creative credits and confirmations work?

A credit describes a specific role on identified work. You can review the statement and request confirmation from someone eligible to support that contribution. The record should identify who made or confirmed the statement and what it supports.

Accepting your own participation is different from independent confirmation. A request awaiting a reply, an imported source or payment alone does not confirm authorship. Confirmation applies to the specific statement; it does not verify your whole Passport or guarantee future performance.

How is an EPK different from my Passport?

EPK means Electronic Press Kit. A Creator EPK is a selected presentation of your Passport for a particular audience. Your Passport is the underlying professional record; the EPK is a way to present chosen information from it.

Before sharing, review the selected content and required permissions. Adding work to your Passport is separate from choosing to publish private material or change previously approved public contribution text.

Is Kreto doing things in my account on these pages?

No. Kreto provides guide tips and illustrations here. These pages do not connect to your account, inspect your projects or carry out actions. Reading progress records only the steps you have marked as read in the guide.

Workspaces & access

Check the account, project and role before continuing.

I am in the wrong company workspace. What should I do?

Pause before sending, publishing or confirming. Check the company name and your role, then switch to the intended workspace. Keep the draft with the company or project where you started it. A pending switch does not confirm the new context, and a blocked draft should not be sent from another company or your personal workspace.

My invitation has expired, was removed or was already used. What next?

Check the named project, inviter and account first. Follow the recovery instructions shown for that invitation. If its meaning or validity is unclear, ask the inviter to check it. Do not assume that a copied link, a saved profile or a call display name gives you project access.

Why can I not find my invited project?

Check that you are using the account the invitation was intended for and look under Invited projects when that workspace option is available. If the project is still missing or access is denied, ask the inviter or project owner to check your access to that specific project. Do not continue the same work through an unrelated company.

Does a project invitation give me company access?

A project invitation gives only the access assigned for that project. It does not by itself make you a company member, give you a paid seat, open billing or private company information, or let you approve all work. Use the role and permissions shown for the item you are working on.

My role or access changed while the project was open. Can I still submit?

Do not submit a protected action from an old screen. Return to work you can currently access and ask the project owner to check your permissions. Keep any draft tied to its original project. Earlier decisions remain attributed to the people who made them; they do not restore current access.

Jobs & proposals

Keep drafts, applications and agreements distinct.

Does saving a Job draft publish it?

No. Draft, preview and publication are different steps. Check the scope, work dates, delivery deadline, budget, currency and fee basis, then read the listing before choosing Publish job. Wait for a confirmed publication result before treating it as public.

I clicked Send or Publish, but I am not sure it worked. Should I try again?

Check the relevant application, message, proposal or published page status before repeating the action. A click, a pending indicator or a missing notification does not establish success or failure. Keep your input with the original Job or project while you check. An application stage does not confirm that a separate message was sent.

Does applying, being shortlisted or moving hiring stage accept work?

No. An application expresses interest, and hiring stages organise the company’s review. Neither accepts terms, sends a message by itself nor creates an agreement. The named creative must review and accept the current proposal. After acceptance is confirmed, check separately that the shared Studio is accessible.

The proposal changed while I was reading. What should I accept?

Read the latest proposal again, including the scope, dates, fee, usage rights and payment terms. A decision for an older version cannot accept changed terms. Rehire also starts with fresh terms; previous acceptance is not carried into a new agreement. If acceptance is already confirmed but the Studio is still being prepared, check its status rather than accepting again.

Studio & delivery review

Find the agreement and the exact work being reviewed.

Which terms apply inside the Studio?

The accepted proposal records the agreed terms. The working brief, tasks and notes help organise the project but do not silently replace that agreement. Check the linked accepted version if the scope is unclear. Proposed material changes need a fresh review rather than an unannounced edit to agreed terms.

I can comment, but I cannot approve the delivery. Why?

Commenting and making a client review decision are different permissions. Only the currently assigned client reviewer can approve or request changes for the submitted delivery. Check the named reviewer. If someone else should review, the company owner needs to assign them; a comment or informal request does not change that assignment.

Is a new file version covered by an earlier approval?

No. Approval or a request for changes belongs to the exact submitted files and version shown. Replacing content or submitting a new version needs a new review. Before deciding, check the project, agreed scope, named reviewer and submitted version. If the earlier decision or current version is unclear, check the record before making another decision.

Why is completion still pending?

Private closeout needs the lead creative and assigned client reviewer to confirm the same completion summary, with required delivery resolved. If one confirmation is missing or the parties disagree, completion remains pending or open. If the reviewer leaves, the owner assigns a replacement. Work completion does not itself confirm payment, independently confirm a contribution or publish it.

Calls & recordings

Choose capture deliberately and check each result.

I forgot to stop recording before leaving. What should I check?

Leaving your own call does not confirm that recording stopped or that the media was saved. Check the recording status first. When the exit reminder appears, Stay is the default. If you can stop recording, request the stop and wait for confirmation; otherwise ask the person with that permission. Do not assume the recording is permanently lost just because it is not immediately available.

The recording stopped, but I cannot play it yet. Is it saved?

A stop confirmation, finalisation, stored media, playback and recap are separate results. Check the recording entry and its current status. If processing is still shown, check again rather than treating the recap or stop request as proof of playable media. Before sharing or relying on the recording, check that the intended recording is available and you can actually play it.

My recording failed or is missing. What information should I keep?

Keep the call name, approximate time and the status or error you saw so the right call can be identified. Check the recording entry before repeating an action. If the status stays unclear, ask the call organiser to check that recording and your access to it. A missing replay does not tell you whether the recording can be recovered.

Can I treat a recap suggestion as a completed task?

No. Review each suggested action, including who will act, the workspace, destination, wording and effect. Confirm only the action you intend. Wait for its own result before treating it as complete. Do not resend while its result is pending or move it to another company because the original context is unavailable.

Publication & payments

Check what is shared and what the payment evidence actually says.

Will completing a project publish it on my Passport?

No. Completion, independent confirmation and publication are separate. The contribution record stays private until the required publication permissions are in place. The creative chooses whether to request publication and reviews the exact text. An authorised company representative separately permits the controlled company details included. Private files, fees, contacts and internal notes are excluded from this contribution preview.

Can I withdraw permission after publication?

You can withdraw your own publication permission. Check that the affected public information is removed from the surfaces Kretopia controls. Material changes to the approved text need renewed permission. Copies or exports made elsewhere may remain outside Kretopia’s control. Withdrawing publication permission and withdrawing an independent confirmation are different actions.

A credit or confirmation is inaccurate. What should I do?

Use the correction or dispute process for that specific statement. Identify the role, work and wording that need attention. A dispute does not rewrite someone else’s decision, and you cannot withdraw a confirmation on another person’s behalf. Check the current claim status and the effect on its public presentation instead of treating a request as a completed correction.

How does KrePay relate to getting paid?

KrePay brings together work-related invoices and payment records. Your Money workspace shows the records your role allows you to see. Payment options depend on the country, account, currency and provider.

Check the agreed amount, currency, due date and recipient before using a payment request. A request or successful browser return does not prove that money reached a bank account. KrePay is not a bank, and these guides do not promise instant payment, universal payout coverage or tax filing.
